what is coaching and mentoring?

Coaching and mentoring both support personal growth and development, whether thats in your professional or personal life.  Coaching is usually shorter-term and focused on a specific goal/goals, whereas mentoring is usually longer-term and the focus of the mentoring sessions will change over time.

Coaching: Providing constructive feedback for the disabled person to make their own decisions on ways to make the desired changes

Mentoring: Providing advice and guidance on what the disabled person might consider doing, but ultimate decision about what to do with that advice sits with the disabled person

Whichever you decide is best for you, both coaching and mentoring can provide you with guidance, support and feelings of empowerment and growth.
